We offer hunts for the Merriam Prairie Spring Turkey (2 gobbler tags) and the Black Hills Turkey (1 gobbler tag) in South Dakota.  We also offer Eastern Spring Turkey (1 gobbler tag) in Iowa. South Dakota Merriam Prairie Spring Turkey tags are Guaranteed Tags through the state lottery and Black Hills tags are available through the state lottery as well and are also Guaranteed Tags. The Iowa Eastern Turkey hunt is also an excellent option for hunters, with gun and bow, tags available by state lottery.

South Dakota Turkey Hunting -This hunt is first class all the way around, “A true Merriam Turkey hunt.”  Our Merriam Turkey’s weigh from 16 to 22 pounds, with a spur length range from ¾ to 1 ¾, and beards from 8 to 10+ inches. Temperatures this time of year range from 40 to 70 degrees during the day and from 25 to 45 at night.

Iowa Turkey Hunting- This hunt is also top rate. Eastern Turkey’s are abundant on our private ranches. Eastern Turkey’s are bigger than the Merriam turkey weighing in at 18-25 pounds with a spur length ¾ to 1 ¾ and beard length from 8 to 12 inches. Temperatures this time of year range from 40 to 70 degrees during the day and from 25 to 45 at night.
